The jury of the international photo contest for the best garden photographer (International Garden Photographer of the Year) announced the winners in the category "Makroiskusstvo" 2018. The project is carried out jointly with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, United Kingdom, and is a major exhibition of botanical photographs in the world.
For the category "Macro" photographers had to capture the life that teems in the garden, revealing stunning details of the life of plants and small creatures.
The first place was given to the Croatian photographer Petar Sabol (Petar Sabol) with his work titled "mayfly" "Delightfully rich light of a new day fell on a pair of fly-odnonevok".
Second went British photographer Jan Gilmore (Ian Gilmour), which removed the complex structure burnet small. "Only with a macro lens, you can appreciate the beauty of miniature flowers burnet".
The third place was taken by a photographer from California, Ashley Moore (Ashley Moore), who sent the photo bizarre shapes Phacelia Tanacetifolia.
