Modern residence Mosman house - it's environmentally friendly and non-volatile structure in Sydney, Australia, designed by the studio Rolf Ockert Design. With a total area of 740 square meters on the street the building appears to be small. His plan takes into account the terrain, the premises are placed at different levels.
Private unit, sauna and gym are located in the south wing of the house, open to air flow and light through the landscaped courtyard. Kitchen and dining room are on the top floor with stunning views. Below is a large two-level space designed by the living room with access to the terrace, which provides for a swimming pool and fireplace in the recreation area.
The house is provided for rainwater harvesting system, thermal insulation and energy-saving lighting. Arrangement of rooms around a courtyard to minimize the use of air conditioning and artificial lighting. Green roof is not only used as decoration but also as a useful additional area, as well as an excellent thermal insulation. The design of the facades provide shade in the summer and the accumulation of solar energy in winter. Heating is carried out effective system of underfloor heating. Solar panels make the house safe and completely non-volatile.
