Fire Department in Magre sulla Strada del Vino, Italy, designed by architects bergmeisterwolf studio. Three large caves, located deep in the mountains, connected across their respective tunnel are internal station premises. Two of them are used for maintenance of fire trucks, the third - for the administrative work.

Three volumes integrated into a concrete wall, decorate the entrances to the caves and function simultaneously as a means of protection and how the architectural elements that reflect the internal structure of the building. As a material for the construction of the concrete was chosen - a solid, reliable and powerful. Dark color achieved by adding to the solution beech coal dust, which made the concrete like a burnt tree.
