The architect Ivan Ovchinnikov, representing the studio BIO-architects, realized the prototype of a modular home, called DD16 and designed for installation in tight spaces and extreme conditions. The compact construction of an area of only 16 square meters made by DublDom.
When designing the architecture studio solved problems such as lightweight construction, while maintaining its strength, achieving high energy efficiency and the rational use of space to create comfortable living conditions. Experts managed to implement a design that makes it easy to mount the object on any territories, including the highlands and even the installation of a helicopter. The internal layout of a modular home includes a kitchen area, a bedroom, a place to rest and shower. Inside there is a refrigerator, oven, hob, fireplace, washing machine and a wardrobe. Part of the furniture is made folding and transformable, and the free space it is also used for storage. All technological devices hidden in the frame recess. Porch area of 7 square meters acts as an extra seating area.
