Ben Thomas was born in Adelaide - South Australia state capital. Here he graduated from International College of digital effects and animation (International Digital Effects and Animation College).
After graduating from college, Ben moved to live in the second largest city in Australia - Melbourne. According to the photographer, it was in Melbourne he opened his eyes and he began to seriously pursue photography with which shares with all his discoveries and impressions.
Since then, the exhibition of his works are held all over the world, including the US, France, Germany, Japan.
This year, the first book to Ben photographs titled "Tiny Tokyo big city in miniature" ( "Tiny Tokyo: The Big City Made Mini").
"Making miniature photos of big cities - it's fun, but it's still a lot of work. Most of all I like to search for a variety of parts - such that we do not notice in everyday life, but which through the use of tilt-offset technology will be the center of attention ", - says the photographer.
