This is a small island located in the Bay of Biscay, near the Spanish coast of the Basque Country. The island is a unique monastery, whose creation dates back to the X-th century.

Island for many years was a strategic bastion for the protection from the sea. In 1334, the year a total of seven Knights held off the attack of a whole army for a month. In 1593, the year the monastery was attacked and sacked by the troops of Francis Drake. Now it's just a beautiful tourist destination, closing, only in the winter.
