In 1948 it was decided to build the plant, and in 1954, he had already started his work as an enterprise electronics industry for the production of electro-optical devices, cathode-ray tubes for oscilloscopes and television picture tubes for complete plants.
For decades, the plant regularly supplying its products to the needs of partners, but with the termination in the Russian mass-production of television technology in 1994, it was converted to the production of glass containers. Now it is the largest enterprise in the Urals.

Often, when I go to the factory, I can not even imagine what is waiting for me there. This time it was the same, I had to visit the largest in the Urals production of glass and I imagined a huge production area, but in reality it was otherwise.
As already mentioned, the plant now occupies a leading position among the manufacturers of glass containers in the territory from the Urals to the Far East. Talking biggest glassware production in the Urals, I mean that the production capacity of the company - 620 million pieces.. glass bottles per year. If you divide by 365, we get about 1.7 million. But the biggest production in this case - it's just two shops (production of colorless bottles and brown).

Preparation of the feedstock is a clean source of raw materials from unwanted impurities and preparing them for further processing and use. This should be storage of certain types of raw materials and the supply of raw materials into a hopper.

Cooking glass - the most difficult operation of all glass production, is produced in a continuous tank furnaces, which are pools built of fire-resistant materials. Upon heating the charge to 1100-1150 degrees Celsius silicates are formed initially in solid form and then to melt. With further raising the temperature of this melt completely dissolve most refractory components - is formed glass melt. This molten glass is full of gas bubbles and not uniform in composition. To lighten its glass temperature is raised to 1500-1600 degrees Celsius.

After passing the molding process, glassware passes additional thermal treatment (annealing) in the direct heating furnace. Annealing is required to remove internal residual stress in glass, which gives the product integrity during subsequent processing and use. Product temperature at the inlet of furnace annealing ~ 400-500C.
