"Moisture". A local man washes his face with water from a stream in the desert near the town of Broken Hill in Australia.
"Another World." This maple, which grows in the Japanese Garden in Portland. I tried to choose an unusual perspective, because this tree is so often photographed.
"lenticular cloud over the stratovolcano Mount Rainier." Nature miracle.
"The Village Gasadalur". Gasadalur village and the island of Mykines in the background. In 2004, the tunnel was built here, and before sixteen villagers Gasadalur had to climb over steep mountains in height of 400 meters to get to the neighboring village. The Faroe Islands was unusually sunny day, and I had to wait until there will be a cloud, so that the light has become less bright. I decided to make a picture long exposure (1 minute 10 seconds) in order to show the movement of the wind and the sea calm.
"Marrakech traveler." I took a picture of him in the early morning, when taking pictures for "Born to Explore" broadcaster "ABC" program.
"Curiosity". As a child I always wondered where we were going. I was eager to find out where we are now, and as soon as we get to your destination. I could not rest until I know. One morning I went to the train and something photographed. In the same train I was traveling child. From time to time he looked back, and every time the train stopped, looked at the scoreboard. Then he saw my camera and interested in it, but did not expect that I would photograph him. It reminded me of my childhood.
"Running Boy". Boy "flies" back home.
"Praying woman." The first time I saw so many women of all ages, young and old, who prayed so deliriously.
"Reindeer graze crumbling under a cherry blossom." I sat down on a stump to rest after a walk in the park in the city of Nara and watch the deer. They ate quietly crumbling petals blooming cherries. Suddenly a strong wind and the petals began to roll in deer. It was like a shower of cherry petals. In Japan, this phenomenon is called "Hana Fubuki", which means "snow flower".
"The chicken in the soup." No, I'm not about chicken soup ... It is a literal translation of the Chinese figure of speech, which means "wet through." I photographed this elegantly dressed woman who was trying to cross the road during heavy rain.
"window washer". I suddenly looked up and saw four window washers who worked on the facade of the skyscraper. I grabbed my camera and started shooting. In search of an interesting angle I stood under a glass canopy and began to take pictures of what is happening at the top.
"Vortex". This picture was taken from the 95th floor of a skyscraper, "John Hancock". One evening I was lucky enough to see how low hanging clouds raced among urban buildings. Cloud was twisted around the skyscraper "Trump Tower", and in my possession was only a few seconds to make two frames. Here is one of them.
"4800 meters above sea level." This picture was taken in Bolivia, near the city of Sucre. Every day from 5 to 7 am mountain exudes pairs at an altitude of 4800 meters above sea level. Steaming hot, but not dangerous. Middle of the desert with beautiful views. There is always a lot of tourists stop, as this place is included in the tour itinerary of Salar de Uyuni.
The old part of the ancient city of Split in Croatia in February 2012, during the very heavy snow in the history of meteorological observations.
"Alone with you". I admired the beauty of the Earth's landscape.
"Ancient Forest". Near the town of Morondava on the west coast of Madagascar is an ancient forest of baobabs. Malagasy is considered sacred baobab tree. Nothing in the world can match the feelings with a walk among the giants. Some of these trees are more than a thousand years.
"Snowflakes". I took a picture of frost on the side of the car window on the way to the mountain to snowboard.
"Swimming in the rain." My sister swam in the lake in southern Chile. We sat by the fireplace in his house by the lake, when suddenly a downpour began. I had to go into the water to make this shot!
"This is divine." When sunlight fills the Taj Mahal, everything else pales into insignificance. Guides, crowds of people, architecture ... Everything becomes insignificant.
