Beauty Lviv •
In Lviv, we stayed only for 3 days. In the continuation you can see all the places that we visited, to see the best views of the city and find out what we had to do there.
Acquaintance with the city, we started in the morning. Our attention is immediately drawn to the beautiful dome of Liberty statue on the roof. Just 10 minutes later we were at the top.
The world's only sitting Statue of Liberty is located in Lviv, on the roof of the Museum of Ethnography and Crafts of the Institute of Ethnology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (in fact, this is not the Statue of Liberty, and Lean statue).
The monument to Taras Shevchenko and Latin Cathedral.
Next are moving on the roof of City Hall, free entrance into it. At the Town Hall tower is a paid observation deck, which is perhaps the best view of the city. Entrance fee: 5 hryvnia.
Church of the Assumption.
The Dominican church and monastery - in Soviet times there is a museum of history of religion and atheism.
The historic town center.
The television tower on "Bald Mountain" - the tallest building in the city. Unfortunately for us, it turned out to be valid.
But now I come to the fun part. By the way, here's a great video, which shows how we climbed to the roof gable
Meet Catholic church of Saints Peter and Paul Church of the Jesuit Order, now it is closed for renovation.
Catholic church of the Jesuits - is one of the largest religious buildings in Lviv: length 41 meters, width 22, 5 meters, height - 26 meters. Church could accommodate up to 5,000 worshipers.
But now the service is not carried out, and the church is used as one of the depositories of the city.
By itself, the church has a custom layout: its entrance is located on the east, and the altar - to the west.
Lviv Opera House - conductive-conductive, and we climbed it.
Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
A monument to Adam Mickiewicz.
Prospect of Freedom.
St. Andrew's Church.
The next day we went to the station to buy tickets to Odessa.
And sin did not have to climb up to the station. On one of these trains we leave.
Catholic church of St. Elisabeth.
Catholic church of St. Elisabeth - the Cathedral in the Gothic Revival style in Lviv, in the square Kropivnitskogo, just off Gorodotska. According to tradition, the church was named in honor of the popular among the people of Empress Elizabeth (Zizi) Habsburg, wife of the emperor of Austria-Hungary Franz Joseph I. Since 1991 is owned by the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and called the temple of the Holy Olga and Elizabeth.
Lviv Opera House. At first, on its roof, we would like to climb the lightning-rod. But on the first night, we are physically tired, and in the second there was a heavy downpour.
we were there quite easy way, by day in the theater excursions. Enough to break out from the group and begin to roam on tehpomescheniyam. After 15 minutes, open access to the attic in the banquet hall was found!
Cyril and his girlfriend.
Thus ended the Lions!
